This isn't a trend alert, it's more of a fashion must have, I love them in as much as they are really more casual than formal, I love that they could give you that youthful playful look. They could be paired with belts to add more style to your outfit. But mostly you could add your own personal style, a blazer, a scarf around the neck, or just accessorize, most of all just have fun
